METRO TRANSIT POLICE OFFICERS (00-0000-SR)
The Metro Transit Police Department is seeking reliable and dedicated citizens
of the community to protect and serve as Police Officers. Successful candidates
must have deductive reasoning skills, a good command of the English language,
good writing skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and in stressful
situations.
Successful applicants must meet these minimum employment qualifications:
- High school graduate or possession of a high school equivalency certificate (GED).
- Current/valid drivers license
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age on the date of appointment.
- Must be a US citizen.
- Must be physically fit to perform the duties of a police officer.
- Have never been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor.

- Salary of $44,609 to $80,062 plus shift differential.
